For the last several months, I’ve experienced a deep desire to pray for revival in the Churches of South Canadian Baptist Association. I would like to invite you to join me in humbling ourselves before our Holy God in earnest, focused, Holy Spirit engaged prayer. Some of our Churches are experiencing significant challenges, others are seeing amazing results while others are relatively unchanged. In each situation, the Holy Spirit is at work accomplishing the Purposes of our Great and Good God.
Praise and criticism are both imposters so we don’t want to assume we fully understand all that is transpiring spiritually. Let us instead, continue to humble ourselves before a Holy God and continue to seek His Face and continue to entreat Him to help us have the courage and willingness to allow Him absolute, unconditional access to our lives.
He is moving powerfully and for that I am deeply grateful and deeply joyful but we also must realize that He often chooses paths for us that (like Job) appear in the short term to be dark and difficult days but will, ultimately, turn out for our Good and His Glory!
